About the work
Presented within the group exhibition Fiber Swamp, Harter's contribution brings together thermoformed plastic plates, sprayed sculptural objects, and two tin relief works. The wall-based VIVAK sheets hold abstracted mash-ups of organs and technical components, coated with automotive paint so that bodily forms and manufactured surfaces begin to merge.
Alongside these works, the tin reliefs register dynamic forces through pressure, deformation, and material tension. The exhibition reflects on the entanglement of organic structures, industrial surfaces, and synthetic production processes.
